PRESENT: Mayor Fixell, Trustees Basher, Butler, Hoyt, McGee, McGovern and Zollo; Village Administrator Blau; Village Treasurer Hart; Village Attorney Shumejda.
Mayor Fixell opened the Special Meeting
FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBERSHIP CHANGES
Trustee Basher moved, seconded by Trustee Zollo and unanimously carried that the following resolution be approved. Approved: 7 – 0
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown does hereby approve the following Fire Department membership changes recommended at the January 20, 2015 Board of Fire Wardens meeting: Membership: Fergus Kaumaya has been elected to out-of-town active membership at Consolidated Engine Fire Company and David Erosa has been dropped from active membership at Consolidated Engine Fire Company.
SETTING THE DATE FOR PROPERTY TAX GRIEVANCE DAY
Trustee McGee moved, seconded by Trustee McGovern and unanimously carried that the following resolution be approved. Approved: 7 – 0
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown hereby schedules Property Tax Grievance Day for Tuesday, February 17, 2015, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Tarrytown Village Hall.
DECLARE INTENT TO BE LEAD AGENCY – RIVERWALK PARK EXTENSION IF LOSEE PARK
Trustee Butler moved, seconded by Trustee Zollo and unanimously carried that the following resolution be approved. Approved: 7 – 0
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Tarrytown does hereby declare its intent to be Lead Agency for the purposes of Article 8 (State Environmental Review Act) of the Environmental Conservation Law for the development of the RiverWalk Park Extension at Losee Park.
APPROVAL OF AUDITED VOUCHERS
Trustee Basher moved, seconded by Trustee Zollo and unanimously carried that the following resolution be approved. Trustee Hoyt abstained from voting on Voucher # 2012248773 for Clarity Testing Services, Inc. due to his son’s membership in the Fire Department and this vendor providing physicals for the Fire Department. Approved: 7 – 0
ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Hoyt moved, seconded by Trustee Basher and unanimously carried that the Special Meeting be adjourned and the Board move into the scheduled Work Session. Meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
